Community Based Pre-Vocational services offer individuals an opportunity to make reasonable and continued progress toward voluntary participation in integrated employment.  These services are intended to be the stepping stone leading to a community integrated job if the individual chooses.

Activities are performed throughout the community (i.e. local businesses, library, job center, etc.).  Individuals will participate in activities with a Community Integration Coach and could be paired with two to three others.  This is a time limited program and is intended for those that want to learn more about community based employment.

Individuals will participate in career and community exploration.  Activities will occur in a variety of ways such as classroom environment learning, job club, job shadowing, touring businesses, attending job fairs, and various community activities.

This program will prepare you with:

• Transportation training
